For my retirement, I am planning to spend my time between Australia, Europe and Southeast Asia. Perth winters are cold and rainy, I was considering an endless summer retirement with part-time work in Perth and trips away.

I expect to have a very active retirement, the early years at least before injuries and age take their toll. Retirement planning isn’t purely financial, it involves lifestyle and scuba diving, sailing, mountain biking, hiking and trekking, kayaking and climbing are the pastimes I will be exploring. Sailing around the Mediterranean, the South China Sea, the Andaman Sea and through the Indonesian archipelago are the expectations I am seeking. Sure, these activities cost money but within reason, life experiences are worth every cent.
